On the top of the list is a walk that takes visitors through the heart of the city taking in the three city towers of Gent, the Graslei and the Koornlei, the Patershol (a huge mediaeval district), the town hall, the Gravensteen, to name but a few..

Other highly recommended highlights in the city are “Het Lam Gods” (The Lamb of God) by the Van Eyck Brothers, S.M.A.K.- the museum of modern art, the Belfort, Gent from the water, etc.
